Organic silica & micronized silver

Organic silica and micronized silver are two of the key ingredients in all the zao products.

zao's formulas include organic silica which is known to enhance skin health by promoting vitamins, anti-oxidants and other essential minerals absorption and to provide anti-irritant and soothing properties.

zao products contain silica derived from three different parts of the bamboo plant:

- Bamboo stem powder - Silica in powder form

- Bamboo leaves hydrosol - Silica in liquid form

- Bamboo rhizome oil - Silica in oil form extracted from bamboo's nodes

Used since ancient times, Silver is a natural and very potent anti-bacterial and natural preservative. Today, silver is used in water treatment plants, homeopathic or alternative medicine, creams to treat burns, among others. Also a strong antiseptic, micronized silver, protects the skin and aids against minor skin infections. For these reasons zao utilizes micronized silver in all of its products*
